You'll find inspirational speakers, praise and worship, ministry and prayer, interaction and fun adventure activities and relaxation.
Adults will have their own time during retreat sessions. The kids have their own teacher and room having fun with age-related interactive biblical teaching, songs, snacks, crafts with other kids.

Many first timers attend and don't know anyone. Meet and make many new friendships. We are happy to find roommates for you or request to room with your friends. Carpool coordination is offered before the retreat.

Frank and Pam Grubbs are Ambassadors for Holt International. Holt International rescues children from becoming victims of child trafficking. Sponsorship provides basic life-giving essentials while Holt looks for a permanent loving family for the child.
Must be legally single to attend with singles and single families with children ages 3 years and older.
You will supervise your child(ren) at all times, except the times they are with the retreat teacher. We do not take responsibility for your child(ren). The retreat is an opportunity to build awesome memories with your child(ren) that will last a lifetime.

Thousand Pines Retreat Center near Lake Gregory
Thousand Pines offers a big variety of fun free-time activities that you will love doing together with others.
On Friday night, we'll hang out in the Malt Shop that offers milkshakes, ice cream, nachos and other goodies for fun and fellowship. Over the weekend, we'll gather around the bonfire roasting marshmallows, along with other fun outdoor activities.
Experience Saturday free-time fun together with zip lining 400' and climbing the 30' wall with 3 skill levels; game room, volleyball, frisbee golf, archery, BB gun range, 5-acre paintball course, mountain bike tour, skate park, swimming pool, and more. A small fee is charged for some of these optional activities.

Miss Bobbi
Children's Retreat Teacher
Bobbi is the children's teacher which gives adults their own time during retreat sessions. They have their own room nearby. Older kids have the option to stay with their parent, while we ask that younger children go with Miss Bobbi. She will provide a positive and fun experience with snacks, crafts, Bible theme, fun activities, and takes the kids to the game room. The kids can win prizes and will enjoy hanging out with other kids. Bobbi has been a favorite Sunday School teacher at church for over 30 years. The kids will have a great time. She has an adult son and has grandchildren.
John Jones
Contemporary Praise & Worship
John Jones has been leading worship for his church singles group for 15 years, and served on the Single+Passion team the last 4 years. We truly can experience God's love and peace when we allow ourselves to focus on Him during worship.

Since 2012, we have included single parent families into our retreats. This will mark the 4th year for single parent families to join in the Summer and Fall retreats for all singles.

Kimberly Demps has been a speaker, gifted vocalist and served on the Single+Passion retreat prayer, ministry team since 2012. Kimberly is a single mom with an adult son. Kim received her Master's of Divinity degree from Lighthouse Ministries in 2009. She is an ordained minister, and will offer prayer ministry at the retreat.
