"The 9 Questions that Help You Discover Your Life Purpose” - Afternoon Session
Why Are You Really Here and What Are You Supposed to Be Doing? Learn how to apply Nine Questions to help you gain clarity on what's really important in life. God made these questions known to Blaine Carman, when he almost lost his life climbing to the summit of Mount Shasta, one of the highest Mountains in the U.S. Blaine will share his story, as published in his 2012 book "My Miracle on Mount Shasta, Nine Questions that Answer a Life", in this interactive workshop. He will show you how these questions can help you transform key areas of your life to fully live out God's purpose for you.
"You Were Born for MORE" During retreat sessions, we give parents a chance to attend the retreat sessions while your children have fun, too. Miss Kimberly will be teaching kids Psalms 139 Bible study, do fun crafts, take them to the game room to play, and they can win prizes. Kids have their own fun time and meeting room. The game room includes an arcade, pool table, foosball, air hockey and board games. No babysitting services are provided at the retreat. Parents and kids stay in their own family cabin. Thousand Pines Retreat Center near Lake Gregory
It's going to be a beautiful weekend with fantastic weather at the retreat!
Thousand Pines features ping pong, hammocks for relaxing, horseshoes or settle in a swing around the fire pit. The Malt Shop and the Big Oak Cafe will open for snacks and refreshments. On Friday night, we'll have some fun in the Malt Shop for dancing while enjoying a milk shake and fellowship. On Saturday night, a bonfire and s'mores or night hike.
There are a wide variety of optional fun free-time activities, take a nap or relax in a hammock! You can choose from day and night hiking. Climb the 322' rock wall with 3 skill levels and soar 400' through the trees at 20 miles per hour. Take a 30 minute mountain bike guided tour; team-building confidence ropes course; frisbee golf; archery or BB gun ranges; paintball; skate park; swimming pool; game room; water sports at Lake Gregory and more. A small fee is charged for some of the optional activities.
Kids will have a blast with other children during retreat sessions giving parents their own personal time. And, parents have their own family cabin.
Cabins or Yurts Cost is low for the retreat weekend and includes 5 delicious meals; $165 per person for cabins or $149 per person for yurts. Child (age 3-17) $125 per person. More than one child $110 per person. Register here.
